I loved making my own play dough when I was younger and now it’s something I get to do with my own kid. It is easy to make and will provide hours of fun!
Here is what I use, it is simple easy and not to mention cheap to make!
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup water
1 cup flour
food dye (any colour)
It only takes about 10 minutes, I use a large surface and if the kids are helping we do it on the floor with some newspaper or an old sheet on the ground. To make and it is as simple as mixing in all of the ingredients together with your hands (except for the food dye) until it gets to a mushy consistency. Once it is mushy add the food dye for the desired colour and keep mixing it together – presto you have your very own homemade play dough.
