We all get those nasty rust and grease stains on our driveway but they are so hard to get rid of! Here are 3 different ways to remove these stains from your driveway, depending on the severity of the damage.
1. Lemon Juice – Minor Damage
Squeeze several lemons into a bowl and then pour lemon juice over the rusted/greasy surface.
Leave for 5-10mins
Scrub the surface using a tough bristled brush (make sure you put some effort into it)
Once you are satisfied rinse the surface with water.
2. Vinegar – Medium Damage
Pour white vinegar on the rusted/greasy surface
Leave for 5-10mins
Scrub the surface using a tough bristled brush (make sure you put some effort into it)
Once you are satisfied rinse the surface with water.
3. A Commercial with oxalic acid (liquid or powder form) – Advanced Damage
Pour/Sprinkle the cleaner with oxalic acid over the rusted/greasy surface
Leave for 5-10mins
Scrub the surface using a tough bristled brush (make sure you put some effort into it)
Once you are satisfied rinse the surface with water.
